- Excellent Rust Protection : Motorcycles are prone to rust due to the humidity in their environment. Rust causes serious damage such as excessive engine wear and loss of compression. Conventional motor oils do not have the ability to prevent rust. AMSOIL Synthetic 10W-40 Motorcycle Oil contains superior rust protection, passing ASTM D-1748 testing (see Technical Data Table).
- Maximizes wet-clutch performance in wet-clutch applications. AMSOIL 10W-40 MCF Synthetic Motorcycle Oil contains no friction modifiers and is formulated with the right additives to provide smooth shifting and clutch engagement. It also controls heat, prevents slippage, and prevents sparking, extending clutch life. In addition, AMSOIL 10W-40 MCF Synthetic Motorcycle Oil meets wet-clutch requirements of JASO T903:2006, MA/MA2, and ISO-L-LEMA2 of ISO 24254:2007.

Usage characteristics
It is suitable for 4-stroke, air- or liquid-cooled engines that require SAE80W/90, API GL-1 gear oil standards and is recommended for use with Honda®, Kawasaki®, Yamaha®, Suzuki®, BMW®, Can-Am®, Triumph® motorcycles and motorcycles that require 10W-40 or 20W-40 engine oil, but it is not recommended for models that require API GL-4 or GL-5 gear oil.
